Borrow a mobile hotspot to stay connected on the go! Hotspots create a wireless network that lets you connect any Wi-Fi enabled device such as a laptop, printer, tablet, camera, or gaming console. They work anywhere T-Mobile cellular service is available and are easy to set up using the included instructions.
A mobile hotspot is a small, portable device that allows you to connect multiple devices to the internet through a Wi-Fi signal powered by T-Mobile’s cellular network. Each hotspot includes setup instructions and can be used anywhere with T-Mobile coverage.
Hotspots are available for checkout at the Adult Information Desk for a two-week loan period. They may not be renewed or placed on hold. Any White Lake Township Library cardholder in good standing, age 18 or older, may borrow one hotspot at a time. Patrons must have a signed Hotspot Information and Agreement on file.
Each hotspot kit includes the following items:
Hotspots must be returned directly to the Circulation Desk inside the White Lake Township Library. They may not be returned in the drop box, drive-up window, to another library, or by mail. Patrons are responsible for any damage that occurs if the hotspot is returned improperly.
If the library is open only for curbside service, please contact the library for return instructions.
The library reserves the right to refuse service to patrons who abuse or repeatedly return equipment late. Three late returns or violations within a six-month period will result in a three-month suspension of hotspot borrowing privileges. An additional late return or violation may result in permanent suspension.
A $1.00 per day late fee applies for overdue hotspots, and devices will be deactivated. Lost or damaged hotspots incur replacement and processing fees.
