Seed Library

The White Lake Township Library’s Seed Library encourages community members to grow, learn, and share seeds across the seasons. Our collection features vegetables, herbs, and flowers — all free to take and grow at home. Patrons are welcome to donate saved seeds at the end of the growing season to help replenish the collection.

Browse the current inventory of our seed collection. There are two tabs, Vegetables, Fruits & Herbs, and Flowers along the bottom of the spreadsheet.

How It Works

Visit the Adult Reference Desk to check out seeds. First-time users fill out a Seed Library Membership Form. Members may select up to 10 seed packs per season and record selections on the Seed Record Form. Returning members simply record new choices each visit.

Donating Seeds

You may donate leftover or saved seeds that are non-hybrid. Please clean and label them with the plant name and collection date before bringing them to the library. Reference our Seed Saving Guide for best practices.
