What are Hotspots?
A mobile hotspot is a device that can be used anywhere to create a wireless network that you can connect any Wi-Fi enabled device (laptop, printer, digital camera, gaming device) to. These hotspots are easy to set up using the instructions included with the device. They should work anywhere T-Mobile cellular service is available.
How do you check out a Hotspot?
Hotspots are available for checkout at the Adult Information Desk. Hotspots can be checked out for 14 days. They may not be renewed or placed on hold. Any White Lake Township Library cardholder in good standing, who is 18 or older, can check out one hotspot at a time. Patrons must have a signed Hotspot policy on file.

How do I return a Hotspot?
Hotspots must be returned to the circulation desk at White Lake Township Library and may not be returned in the drop box or to another library. If the hotspot is returned in a drop box and damaged, you will be responsible for it. If the library is only open for curbside service, please contact the library for information about returning the hotspot.
What happens if you lose, damage or are late returning a Hotspot?
You will be charged a fine of $1.00 per day that a hotspot is overdue, and the device will be deactivated. If the hotspot is lost or returned damaged you will be charged a replacement fee and a $5 dollar processing fee.
